Notes: • Notes: • Challenges: • Double role: FP&A and investor relations - not super close to accounting • They tried with CoPilot: at the beginning it was not good • Data base is not well structured • He build a forecasting tool in Excel himself; P&L, Balance sheet -> he tried to build a forecast with AI -> regression analysis should not be a problem for AI -> did not really work (could be that it was because it volatile) -> went back to manual • -> that could be a potential for AI • IR: it is very strong at analysis -> he often put report of competition in ChatGPT to get highlights and what to pay attention to • CAPEX planung und priorisierung -> is quite simple, NPVs comparison -> probably no AI required • • Automation: • • Biggest objections / challenges in his daily life? • • Most valuable flows for him? • • Context: team setup? internal and external? • • Which tasks are the biggest pain? With magic wand -> what would he solve? • IR: they have an AI tool -> he uploads PDFs and then it structures it into the CRM (nasdaq IR insight -> AI plugin - quite rudimentary) • Problems: it is very slow - what would be interesting: when meetings are in CRM run an analysis -> reports: who did they meet how often, who to meet next because it is a strong investor, • Nasdaq has 4 AI Assistants -> he has to select -> thats already too complicated -> select which data to look at -> takes too much time • IRRwin seems to be better -> they think to move; also AlphaSense is very strong (15k per year per license) • Upload a conference schedule and put it into format of a CRM • FP&A: • Offered him to test the Cursor for his data • Which tasks would he focus on? • • Do they already have automations? Which ones? How well do they work? • • Which companies would he target? • • General feedback to pitch? •
