Notes: • AI experience • They install wärempumpen, ACs etc. • A lot of material costs • Multiple 100 of invoices • Compare prices from different suppliers • Optimisation of purchasing • He looked at a lot of tools • Mostly OCR -> Invoices are always different • Sometimes even for him understandable • He used make.com and OpenAI himself • He switched to Google Cloud and trained his own processors with 200 invoices -> annotated the invoices manually -> that worked quite well • Problem: it was not maintainable -> formats change or they change suppliers from time to time • Use case: • Vorkontierung Agicap -> that does not go to individual Rechnungspositionen • AP is a big topic • If personal and material -> they put it on the larger cost center • Supplier Negotiation • They are currently working on it • Largest Installateur in Austria -> use it as purchasing power • Done by a founder • AR • Fully automated but not with AI -> a lot of self developed tools -> based on Angebot -> works really well end to end • No AI required • FP&A • He thinks that AI is not good enough • Every system failed • A lot of value could be created • When data is prepared -> health checks (2nd view) of a planning • Soll vs. IST comparison and root cause analysis • We should keep him in the loop • Did they also look at AP flow? • • Automation: • • Biggest objections / challenges in his daily life? • • Most valuable flows for him? • • Context: team setup? internal and external? • • Which tasks are the biggest pain?
