Nicolas Christe (07.11.2025) • At McK • Message: • Our goal is to develop proprietary AI models for Controlling & Accounting that are trained to handle complex cases - such as multiple purchase orders on a single invoice or supplier price variance tolerances. The aim is around 70% automation in AP/AR and a 50% reduction in effort for closing and reporting - all without introducing a new SaaS tool, directly integrated into existing systems (even those without APIs). • He replied: • Just as heads-up: this is a bit outside of my area of work/expertise, but let’s discuss!

Notes: • General catch up • Joins a startup now -> AI for IT operations -> monitor of IT infrastructure • He is co-founder • They have a good product • logmind -> check it out • Feedback: • Intros to people he has to think about it • McK • On procurement they have analytics tools - but it is one off -> bills vs. contracts • At McK they have not many suppliers -> when they have an invoice there is a approval process -> review • No automatic controls • Procurement: • McK: • Benchmarks on procurement are bullshit -> very difficult to compare • Not highest value that McK brining • Value that they deliver is the initiative to actually save the potential • They have playbooks for each domain -> e.g. how much to pay lawyers, etc. • No company is perfect -> 20% of costs can be saved • They discuss what is applicable • There is some value to tell them that their spend is higher than other companies -> already triggers the curiosity of customer -> available in public reports (he does not know specific reports - some might cost sth.) • Large companies are loosing millions in procurement -> reactive, not proactive • SME will not have negotiation power to renegotiate -> bulk demand of companies and leverage that • Companies are often only doing it sporadically • Gather information like late delivery, and low quality for negotiation • Pitch AP and Copilot -> does he have insights about challenges in clients? • Does he know someone that could be interested?
